Finally, we are trying to grow our blog presence and reader community. To incentivize our readers, we are doing two gift giveaways.

Giveaway #1: Follow usFollowus

Our first giveaway will be a set of holiday cocktail napkins (learn how to make them yourself in our Dec 1 post).  To get your name in the drawing for these fun, festive napkins follow our blog (enter your email and click “follow” in left hand sidebar of blog) by Dec 12.

Giveaway #2: Share your comments and tips

Our second giveaway will be a set of coasters (learn how to make them yourself in our Dec 2 post).  This giveaway will go to the person who has the best comment or tip to shared on our blog (scroll to the bottom of the post and find the text box under “Leave a Reply”).

On December 13 we will take all the names of those who have followed and do a drawing for the napkins. For the coasters, we will look at all the comments and tips and select the one we like best. The winners will be contacted and asked where to send the napkins. We can send them to you or are happy to package them up and send them to someone of your choosing as a gift!

We are excited to share our ideas with you and look forward to hearing your ideas, comments, and tips.  If you make any of the items we post about, we would also love to see your pictures and hear about your experience… Is there something that we missed in our instructions? Was it easier or more difficult than you expected?

  1. I’m in for the 12 days of stuffers! My best tip for the drawing: When you’re getting ready to do your sewing project, move your ironing board and iron to your sewing area. If people are like me, their ironing board is in the laundry room, and I have run up and down the stairs to the laundry room so many times during a project that it became a deterrent to getting the project completed. So much easier to move it once and have it on hand for pressing the fabric before cutting and pressing seams open.
